Purpose
Celebrating its 60th anniversary and six decades of service to the
community, COSI produces a unique brand of science that can touch and impact
learners across the region and beyond. COSI is a trusted educational resource and a
cherished local tradition. Our critically important work relies on the generosity of
people like you to help sustain it.

Experience
The evening will be a celebration of COSI and Columbus,
showcasing the journey from ‘THEN’ to ‘NOW’. Step back in time to COSI’s grand opening in 1964
with a tribute to that year’s hottest band, The Beatles, as Hard Day’s Night performs a unique,
costumed tribute show. The experience will be enriched with a carefully curated menu that pays
homage to iconic Columbus restaurants from the past. As we shift to the ‘Now,’ enjoy indulgences
from some of Columbus’ finest bakeries and dance the
night away with live music from Velvet Crush, taking us through hits from the 80s, 90s, and
today.

Erik
Tait has won awards for both standup
comedy and magic throughout North America,
appeared on Penn & Teller: Fool Us and was the
2018 current International Brotherhood of
Magicians Gold Cups Close Up Competition
Champion. He took home 3rd place at FISM
Quebec 2022, the world championships of
magic, in the category of card magic. Erik is only
the fourth American to accomplish this, and the
first American to stand on the podium for card
magic in two decades.
