COSI Science Festival
COSI Science Festival

Science is the process of knowledge generation and it is an important part of COSI’s work. As a science center, we value our role as a research institution and are proud of the many things that have been learned by researchers affiliated with COSI including university researchers in residence, visiting researchers, and our own Center for Research and Evaluation research scientists.

COSI’s Center for Research and Evaluation was originally developed as a collaboration between COSI and The Ohio State University Extension to study how people learn in non-school settings across the lifespan. The center’s work includes studies occurring at COSI as well as work in collaboration with organizations across the country and beyond. Our external-facing work – formerly under the name, Lifelong Learning Group – helps organizations better understand human learning through evaluation and research. The center’s mission is knowledge generation and knowledge sharing about informal learning, and we would be happy to talk with you as you are considering your projects and proposals. Please reach out to us using the contact information below.
