Marketing Analysis Intern (click for details)


Support COSI’s mission and goals by working cooperatively with the marketing and branding team to research and analyze data trends and provide insights into current and prospective audiences.


Ideal candidate possesses excellent organizational skills, is energetic and flexible, able to coordinate diverse tasks, able to establish good working relationships with team members, and has excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must have the ability to work independently on highly focused projects. Sophisticated experience in data sources (Excel, Qualtrics, SPSS, Power BI as examples) required. High School diploma or equivalent plus two years of relevant college coursework required. 10-15 hours per week preferred; ability to provide internship past semester term ideal, but not required.

Duties & Responsibilities

A. Work with the Senior Director of Special Projects & Marketing Analysis in market research projects.
B. Efficiently analyze data from a variety of data sources (Qualtrics, Power BI, Airtable, SPSS)
C. Report out results in narrative format and effectively present data to Brand Team.
D. Utilize Access and Excel Databases to discover trends in COSI’s audiences.
E. Complete a Capstone portfolio highlighting experiences with the Brand Team.
F. Support general COSI operations through participation in team meetings and extended training opportunities, such as professional development workshops.
G. Serve as an example to other COSI team members in matters of appearance, attitude and performance in a manner best serving COSI team members and guests.
H. In accordance with COSI's Guest Services Strategy and as opportunities present themselves, provide excellence in guest services by assuring guest safety, using courtesy to drive each guest interaction, by delivering the COSI show, and by keeping operations efficient.

SCHEDULE/HOURS: 8-15 hours/week, varied schedule including weekdays, regular business hours, evenings, weekends, and holidays. 100 hour minimum commitment.
