About Camp-In 2012: Growing and changing, all living things do it, but a caterpillar's metamorphosis into a beautiful butterfly is truly amazing! Receive a caterpillar of your own to care for and observe as it transforms into a Painted Lady butterfly!
The butterfly workshop engages participants in watching the life cycle of a butterfly from larvae to adult. It furthers their understanding of the stages of metamorphosis, increases their appreciation of this life form, and helps them recognize that we are part of a larger community of beings on earth.
Overnight and day experiences are perfect for Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts, youth groups, and families of all sizes. Camp-in campers explore COSI, make new friends, and participate in super-cool hands-on activities! Reservations for 2012 are now open.
