Option One: Program Demonstration Only

Option one includes the 45-minute, high-energy, COSI-led demonstration portion only of our program. For example, in COSI's Current Conditions program, COSI's "meteorologist" will help your attendees explore how weather affects life on Earth everyday and learn about technology used by today's top forecasters.

Option Two: Program Demonstration Plus 4-5 Hands-On Activity Stations

Option two combines the 45-minute high-energy demonstration with one or more hours of hands-on activities (4 to 5 activities). Schedule as many or as few hours of hands-on activities as you need! Please plan to provide a covered location, five six-foot tables, electricity, and 8-10 volunteers who will actively facilitate the hands-on activities throughout the entire event.

OhioHealth Medical Career Discovery @ COSI

This program is full for the 2012-2013 school year and no longer accepting applications.

Do you have high school students thinking about a career in health and medicine? Check out this brand new program designed for students in grades 9-12. This program will explore various careers found in the OhioHealth system. Participants will travel to various facilities in the OhioHealth System and meet professionals in different fields.

Cost for 2012-2013 school year: COSI Members $325; nonmembers $400.
Scholarships are available. Annual tuition includes all monthly meetings, transportation for field trips and lunch.

OhioHealth Medical Career Discovery @ COSI meets at COSI on the 3rd Saturday of every month (excluding holidays) from October to May and includes a visit to an Ohio College in June.
