View a recorded human autopsy, accompanied by live narration by a pathology resident from The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. Participants must work through the "case" and solve for the cause of death.
The autopsy includes the external examination, Y-incision, removal and dissection of individual organs and is 90-minutes long. School and community groups are welcome. Individual tickets are available for non-school audiences and individuals to watch from COSI's Galaxy Theater.
As a human anatomy teacher, this is truly the culmination of my curriculum! Awesome - great opportunity for our students.
In Depth: Autopsy is a multi-point program that connects up to 6 schools at one time, including an audience at COSI for groups and individuals. Questions will be asked in a round robin, facilitated format. COSI can connect schools through IP (H.323) videoconferencing or on COSI’s Ustream channel.
